What equipment do you work on?

We care for discrete hi-fi stereo equipment, the kind you find in proper hi-fi stores, and that isn’t home cinema or ‘lifestyle’ type equipment.

This includes Australasian, European, Japanese, and North American hi-fi stereo (two-channel) equipment, including integrated/pre/phono and power amplifiers, single-cassette decks, CD players, DACs, receivers, tuners, turntables and some shortwave radios, manufactured from 1970.

We cater for most good brands, including Accuphase, Akai, Denon, Dual, Esoteric, JVC, Krell, Kenwood/Trio, Linn, Luxman, Marantz, Musical Fidelity, Perreaux, Pioneer, Plinius, Quad, Rotel, Sansui, Sony, TEAC, Technics, Thorens, Yamaha, and more

We do not cater for non-Hi-Fi stereo equipment, including:

Home cinema, multi-channel, quadraphonic, AVR, HTR, BlueTooth, Blu-ray, DVD, Laserdisc, VHS, PA, DJ, portable, car audio, record changer, Bluetooth turntable (Crosley, Marley, etc), streamer, soundbar, dock, 3-in-1, radiogram, stereogram, lifestyle system (B&O, Bose, Sonos), mini/midi/shelf system, 4-track, reel-to-reel, Minidisc, DAT, headphone, speaker, musical instrument, DIY/kit or made before 1970.
