Did you know that despite our success, we need your support?
Liquid Audio is an independent Australian hi-fi specialist and content creator, cherishing classic audio since 2010. We – or rather I – am known for repairing and writing about classic hi-fi equipment, promoting a science-informed, technically meticulous approach, industry best-practice, and extensive contributions to the hi-fi zeitgeist.
This website was one of the first of its kind and has become one of the most trusted, with over half a million words, 650 articles and videos, and 5 million combined views. I raise public awareness about businesses harming hi-fi equipment. I support consumers whose equipment has been damaged and advocate for improved standards in this industry. I tell much-needed hi-fi truths that debunk the marketing BS and help people make actually good decisions about their hi-fi systems. And much more.

Some assume that all this must be the work of several people, but nobody helps me or pays me to create content; I do everything myself. This generates the authenticity that people love, but it’s a lot for one person. Many articles take a day to create; the admin never stops, and all of it is unpaid, something many forget. There is no paywall, no advertising, no kickbacks, and I don’t copy others’ work or delegate repairs as some do.
Sadly, the unskilled recappers, copycats and competitors undercutting legitimate hard-working businesses mean that support from customers and visitors is more important than ever. You can support me and my business in a few ways:
- Engage our services
- Read, watch, comment, like and share our content
- Subscribe for the latest updates
- Make a one-off or periodic monetary donation
- Donate dead or unwanted equipment
- Leave a Google review to share your positive experiences
- Share your experiences with others who might benefit from them
- Hold substandard businesses and their owners to account
If you value education, professionalism and quality, if we’ve helped you over the years, inspired you to purchase a piece of equipment or have it properly cared for, advised you or educated you via an article or in person, please consider supporting us.
