Liquid Audio is an independent Australian hi-fi specialist and content creator, cherishing classic audio since 2010. We – or rather I – am known for repairing and writing about classic hi-fi equipment, promoting an informed, meticulous, technical approach, and creating extensive and unique contributions to the hi-fi zeitgeist.

Why We Need Your Support

This website was one of the first of its kind, inspired by legends such as TheVintageKnob, and has become one of the most trusted, with over half a million words, 650 articles and videos, and 5 million combined views of content that cannot be found anywhere else.

I raise public awareness about businesses harming hi-fi equipment and advocate for improved industry standards. Liquid Audio has quietly become one of the most trusted and respected specialists by delivering the expertise, passion, professionalism, service, and results that discerning customers expect.

“That’s great”, you say, and it is, but many assume this must be the work of several paid people. Most enjoy the articles, learn something and leave, thinking that I’m perhaps paid to create this content, as one reader recently asked, but what you see here is entirely the work of one person – me!

Nobody helps me, and nobody pays me to create content. I do everything, and some articles take me an entire day to put together. All of that work is unpaid and basically a labour of love. I have no paywall, no advertising, no kickbacks, and I don’t copy others or delegate repairs as some do. And all of that is on top of running Liquid Audio, a proper, full-time business.

Unlike some others, I don’t make most of my earnings swapping boards in mining equipment, nor do I get my inspiration and ideas from sites like this one, let alone steal content as has happened with me, unfortunately.
