Because we’ve proven ourselves to be trustworthy, it’s that simple.
Mind you, it’s not by chance. It’s taken hard work and dedication to the craft- over 15+ years, half a million words, and thousands of pieces of hi-fi equipment lovingly cared for and owned by detail-focused owners.
Liquid Audio is a quality-focused, specialist small business that has quietly become one of the most trusted and respected in the country. We’ve achieved this by:
- Doing what we do really well,
- Not trying to be all things to all people, and
- Being what I call the ‘real deal’ -ie, delivering the highest standards of expertise, passion, professionalism, and results, three surprisingly hard-to-find things that shouldn’t be.
In a nutshell, we stay in our lane, work to exceptionally high standards and don’t pretend to be something we’re not.
I was chatting with my friend Pierre (formerly Revolution TT) about this, and explained to him that it has even taken me a while to wrap my head around our success, why we’re so widely respected, and so often fully booked.
I’ve quietly and steadily built this business through creativity and hard work, delivering education, evidence-based results, and industry best practices. We focus on what we are known for and do that as well as it can be done. This means that what you see is what you get with Liquid Audio, and this means something.
My science and teaching qualifications, professional experience, attention to detail, motor skills, passion, etc., help me in what I do, but trust also comes because of what we don’t do: copying, hollow promises, damaged equipment, shotgun parts replacement, a poor attitude, a new business name every year or two, Temu parts, poor technical knowledge, etc.
Anyone who visits this website immediately knows that I’m promoting the right approach in caring for the hi-fi equipment we all love. There are too few who contribute positively, educationally and genuinely usefully to the hi-fi community. I’ve been doing that for over 15 years, in my own time, on my own dime, and I think people appreciate it.
