Because we’ve proven ourselves to be trustworthy, over 15+ years, half a million words, and thousands of pieces of hi-fi equipment lovingly cared for. We stay in our lane, do what we do well and don’t pretend to be something we’re not. Simple, really.
I recently chatted with my friend and former Accuphase distributor, Pierre, about this. He was possibly surprised by how our reputation has developed, especially in terms of the independent Accuphase specialist. I told him that it has taken me a long time to wrap my head around our success and why my business is so widely respected, and why we’re so often fully booked.
I’ve quietly and steadily built this business with creativity and hard work, delivering education and evidence-based results and industry best practice. We focus on what we are known for and do that about as well as it can be done. This means that what you see is what you get with Liquid Audio, and this means something to most.
My science and teaching qualifications, professional experience, attention to detail, motor skills, passion, etc. help me in what I do, but trust also comes because of what we don’t do: copying, hollow promises, damaged equipment, shotgun parts replacement, a poor attitude, a new business name every year or two, Temu parts, poor technical knowledge, etc.
Anyone who visits this website immediately knows that I’m promoting the right approach in caring for the hi-fi equipment we all love. There are too few who contribute positively, educationally and genuinely usefully to the hi-fi community. I’ve been doing that for over 15 years, in my own time, on my own dime, and I think people appreciate it.
