A New Reference Turntable is Coming…

If you love high-end turntables and a good story, you’ll love my new reference turntable resurrection project – coming soon!

The resurrection of this reference turntable has taken me a year and involved plenty of pain, suffering and obstacles. It’s been totally worth it though. Bringing this extraordinary, heavyweight vinyl playback machine back to life and playing records is one of the more satisfying things I’ve done recently.

This monster is one of two reference-class turntables I own and it takes vinyl playback to the next level. As sad as it is, it’s part of the reason I recently sold my beautiful Kenwood KD-600. One can’t have all this gear sitting around, it needs to be used.

Does the pic give it away..? Let me know which bits (turntable, arm and cartridge) you think make up this vinyl-spinning beast in the comments below.

Full reveal and story coming soon, secret word – VACUUM!

  1. Is it another Jelco arm? Maybe that new knife edge bearing?
